Local developer executed an adaptive reuse ofhistoric building in a prominent downtown area into afirst-class boutique hotel. Chesapeake was chosento manage the pre-opening, opening, and ongoingoperations of the new hotel.

The Strategy

Implement Chesapeake's first-class operating modelas well as proven sales & marketing and revenuemanagement systems to optimize ramp up andperformance of the asset.

Create restaurant in the hotel using Chesapeake'sproprietary restaurant concept program.

The Results

Hotel exceeded its Year One and Year Two budgetedperformance and is recognized by IHG for holdingthe record for the fastest Hotel Indigo ramp up tostabilization to date.

Within one year, hotel attained #1 ranking for guestsatisfaction in the brand and is currently put forth byIHG as a prime example of an exceptionally operatedHotel Indigo-branded hotel.
